Starting With PROCYSBI
The first cystine-depleting medication dosed every 12 hours
PROCYSBI is a delayed-release form of cysteamine bitartrate that works by continuously reducing the toxic concentrations of cystine in the cells. This may help prevent irreversible cellular damage. PROCYSBI can provide continuous control of cystine when taken every 12 hours. PROCYSBI plays an important role in the treatment of nephropathic cystinosis. When you or a loved one is prescribed PROCYSBI, RaptorCares will provide the customized support you need to navigate the insurance process and make the most of your treatment.
The most common adverse reactions (≥5%) in patients treated in clinical trials are vomiting, nausea, abdominal pain, breath odor, diarrhea, skin odor, fatigue, rash, and headache.
